CYANOTYPES – AN EARLY PHOTOGRAPHIC PROCESS – WORKSHOP
On this one day workshop you will learn how to create images using one of the earliest photographic techniques developed in the 19th century. This technique is a hybrid of digital and chemical based photography that does not require a darkroom and so can easily be done at home to create unique prussian blue images. Drypoint prints are created by scratching a drawing into a metal plate with a needle or other sharp tool. Learning this technique allows the greatest freedom of line, from the most delicate hairline to the heaviest mark to create wonderful imagery.
CREATIVE PRINTMAKING – WORKSHOP
A day experiencing printmaking using mono printing and collagraph techniques in exciting and creative ways. Suitable for people who have some art or printmaking experience or complete beginners. We will experiment with materials and at the end of the day you will have a lovely selection of prints to take home.
