The Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal
Freelance Opportunity – Digital Creative Learning
The Brewery is embarking on an exciting project, Our Digital Future, that will introduce digital into the heart of the art centre – transforming everything from its cinemas to the kind of art and activities it presents. The £900,000 project will ensure the Brewery is a flagship arts venue for the North of England and an art centre of which South Lakeland can be especially proud.
At the heart of the project is the creation of a Digital Learning Hub, and a refurbishment of the existing rehearsal studio, so all elements of the Brewery’s acclaimed learning programme can make full use of the latest digital techniques, extending the range of opportunities available to young people and adults alike.
The Brewery is now seeking to recruit a range of tutors that can help the art centre shape it’s new creative learning curriculum and act as tutors, able to make full use of the amazing resources on offer. We are looking for experienced tutors in the fields of:
- digital visual art
- 3D printing and sculpture
- film making
- performance on film
We are also interested in artists who may incorporate digital processes into more established artforms – anything from textiles to music.
If you are interested in becoming involved in this exciting project and wish to explore how you might become involved with Our Digital Future, please send your CV with information on your particular areas of expertise and availability to:
