Prism Arts Studio Theatre presents Shadow Tales.

Set in the 1860s, Shadow Tales is a story of a boy haunted by his past. Charles must return to India to discover the truth about his parents and, through many adventures, discovers who he really is. The story is told through traditional tales from Britain and India using a mixture of live performance and shadow theatre with traditional Indian puppets, music and storytelling –  truly a feast for the eyes.

About Prism Arts Studio

Studio Theatre is an integrated company where adults with learning disabilities and professional artists work in partnership.

We are actors, animators, musicians, directors and artists who have a myriad of different strengths, skills and talents. Together, we produce high quality theatre productions which engage, inspire and entertain.

We create a new production in its entirety each year. We research, create the storyboards, develop the characters, design and create the set and costumes, compose the music and of course perform the production!

The theatre company is run by Prism Arts, a Cumbrian arts charity who believe that the arts are for everyone and work hard to create and run art projects which are accessible to all.
