What will the course cover and how will it be taught?

Build on theatre skills to bring scripts to life, build confidence, form a strong and supportive theatre company and make friends. Open your minds to different ways of performance including clowning, physical theatre, comedy, puppetry and mime.

Important Information

Please note there are no classes during weeks beginning 25 October and 15 November.

What do I need to bring with me?

Please come ready to move in comfortable clothes and bring your own water.

About the tutor 

Laura trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts gaining a Diploma and Degree in Acting and joins our new Brewery Arts learning team. Laura performed in a variety of acting roles from Shakespeare to sitcom pilots, original writing to corporate training. During working as an actor in London, Laura found joy working with adults and children in theatres and performing arts schools, running acting workshops across London and then as a resident tutor at both The Norwich Theatre Royal and Garage Theatre. She has written and directed for young actors at The Playhouse, Norwich and also holds a 100% pass rate for LAMDA exams. The main focus in her sessions is to build a safe and fun environment in which young people can learn skills, build confidence and be supportive of others.
