Try our new Yoga Nidra class for FREE this Friday, just what you need to wind down for the weekend. A powerful yet gentle deep relaxation practice, Yoga Nidra is especially useful for promoting normal deep sleep.
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
Yoga Nidra (yoga sleep) is essentially the practice of the deepest relaxation you experience between waking and sleeping. It is a type of meditation carried out while lying down, warm and comfortable under blankets.

What do I need to bring with me?
Clothing: wear comfortable light clothing such as a tracksuit
Bring your own yoga mat, or camping mat, and a blanket.

About the tutor
Ishwara has a background in athletics, football and art. Yoga & Meditation was embraced passionately in 1991 and a decade later began training intensively in the Sivananda & Satyananda yoga traditions. Leaving London to teach full time in the Lake District in 2002/3, Ishwara has since taught workshops & retreats across Europe, India and Bermuda as well as teaching yoga philosophy in Italy.
Ishwara is also a practising Thai Yoga Massage therapist and is currently studying clinical nutrition.
