Yin And Gin Evening

Health & Wellbeing |
4th February 2022 – 19th March 2022

Yin and Gin Evening | Sat 19 March | 5-6.30pm | £18pp per session | 18+ | Tutor Mandy Chacksfield | Warehouse & Brewery Arts bar

Come and join us for a relaxing evening of yin yoga and a soothing tipple of gin to rejuvenate you for the weekend.

What will the session cover and how will it be taught?

This will be a relaxing Yin Yoga class followed by a touch of gin to help slow things down, relax and unwind.

In this class, we will look at a number of classic Yin poses designed to help to open up the body and calm the mind, alleviating anxiety and reducing stress. Yin Yoga offers deeper access to the body targeting connective tissue, fascia and ligaments with the aim of lubricating and protecting the joints. You will leave this class feeling grounded and revitalised.

Gin is made from juniper berries and other natural botanicals which are full of antioxidants and can help fight illness, improve circulation, reduce bloating and fluid retention and may help keep you wrinkle free – when drunk in moderation, of course. In fact, gin originates from the Middle Ages where it was first developed as a form of herbal medicine!

PLEASE NOTE: A non-alcoholic alternative can be provided.

Who is it suitable for?
This class is suitable for all adults aged 18 +, from beginners to more experienced yogis.

What do I need to bring?

Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes or yoga leggings and bring:

  • Yoga mat
  • A yoga blanket for extra warmth and cosiness.
  • Two pillows and if you have them, but not essential, a yoga brick and bolster.

Are there any additional costs?
No, tuition and one gin cocktail or non-alcoholic equivalent is included in the ticket price.
