This course will teach you the traditional principles of weaving, especially willow and hedgerow weaving. Students will create small items such as decorative wreaths and then progress to making English round baskets. Just in time for spring it will also be possible to make a plant climber tepee for the garden. Students will also be encouraged to experiment with mixed media techniques using beads, ribbons, and fabric and found beach objects.
No previous experience is required. The higher fee for these classes reflects the detailed tuition in a class with restricted numbers.
