Four contemporary dance works choreographed by European artists Anton Lachky, Efrosini Protopapa, Renaud Wiser and Athina Vahla.

VERVE promises an energetic, theatrical performance by twelve dancers trained at some of the world’s leading conservatoires.

Lachky’s fast and physical movement style sees all twelve dancers display strength and power as they rapidly move across the stage in this full company work. Having presented choreography across the The Netherlands, Germany and Greece, Protopapa joins VERVE using wit and absurdity to explore characteristics of humanity with the dancers. Founder-member of New Movement Collective, Wiser creates a technical, intricate piece for VERVE, dynamically tackling issues relevant to the human condition. Completing the programme, Vahla transforms the stage into an imaginary world where the dancers use movement to deeply investigate the human psyche.
