10.30-11.30: The Wonderful World of Manga
BAC: Screen 1

Did you know there is a manga museum in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan? The Kyoto International Manga Museum is crammed full of manga of all shapes and forms, many of them Japanese but others collected from around the world. You can read manga there, see fantastic exhibitions and take part in all kinds of events. We are honoured to be able to welcome two of this museum’s curators, Sookyung Yoo and Kayoko Kuramochi, to LICAF. Let them take you on a whirlwind introduction to manga culture and to the wonderful world of the museum.
