Saxman Snake Davis is instantly recognisable for his soulful passionate sound, as heard on Lisa Stansfields “Change”, “Someday”, M Peoples hits, Paul Hardcastles albums and Take That’s “Million Love Songs”.

On the road with his 4 piece band, Paul Birchall, keyboards, Bryan Hargreaves drums, Simon Goulding bass, lots of new material, a wonderful mix of soul world funk and jazz, always melodic, always soulful. Featuring the haunting Japanese shakuhachi and Irish whistle along with saxes there’s something for everybody here, young old or in between.

“A virtuoso saxophonist”  DAILY TELEGRAPH

“Snake Davis has one of the most passionate sax styles and simple bluesy approaches a-la-Sanborn heard in these isles for a while”  TIME OUT

“Snake is a joy to work alongside.  His musical skills have no limit, in fact he is as free as a bird”  DAVE STEWART (Eurythmics)

“Snake has been a friend and inspiration for many years and continues to be so because of his exceptional talent, dedication and sheer joy of making music. Long may it continue.”  HEATHER SMALL

“He doesn’t mess about”  GUARDIAN

“A legend. His playing is effortless and lifts the soul. His quietly spoken anecdotes and description of the pieces that he plays are not only fun but educational. He makes you want to explore and discover new things. In these times of political unrest, terrorism and economic hardship escapism is hard sought, but an evening with the Snake Davis Band lifts the spirit. Treat yourself next time they are in a town near you.”  PROGMEISTER BLOG
