Observing from life is the perfect discipline to improve drawing skills. This course will provide an opportunity for people of all abilities, specific to beginners, develop their drawing skills through the discipline of portraiture. You will be guided through a series of mark making and measuring exercises exploring different drawing techniques, using a variety of mediums.The higher fee for this workshop reflects using a model for the sessions.

Catherine has exhibited widely, including the BP Portrait Show 2001 and 2002, and has won many awards, including 1st prize at the Brewery Open in 2002.  Her work is collected nationally and internationally, and features in Sky Portrait Artist of the year 2014.
