THE BIRTHDAY GIRLS – WORK IN PROGRESS

Comedy |
18th May 2014

Fantastic female comedy quintet Lady Garden were one of the hits of last year’s festival and they are back…as an all-new trio!

A brand new comedy sketch show from all-female sketch group Birthday Girls. Expect odd characters, offbeat sketches, try-hard dancing, and the best and most rewarding time of your life. Directed by Tom Parry (Pappys, BBC3’s Badults).

Birthday Girls are Beattie Edmondson, Rose Johnson and Camille Ucan. They used to be in the critically acclaimed sketch group Lady Garden, and as well as regularly performing at the Edinburgh Festival, they have been seen and heard on things like Live At The Electric(BBC3), Absolutely Fabulous (BBC1), Dick & Dom’s Funny Business (BBC2) and Sketchorama (BBC Radio 4).

‘exuberantly silly, consistently imaginative and delightfully playful’ The Guardian

‘one of the best shows of its kind that I have seen this year’  Broadway Baby

‘too much reliance on Camille's absolute willingness to disgrace and degrade herself' The List
