Creative Learning |
6th June 2019

Tutor Pilar Valera | 5.30pm | Thu 6 & 13 June | £25 per screening or £45 for both

Enjoy an evening of Spanish tapas, film and lively debate in our relaxed film screenings in the Warehouse. These evenings are led by Spanish tutor and native speaker Pilar Valera.

Both evenings can be booked independently or book on both and receive a £5 discount.

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?

Both films explore the theme of marginalisation. They also look at how society deals with and accepts or excludes minorities and people with disabilities.

For more information about the films, please contact Pilar Valera valerabalbuena@hotmail.com

Prior to watching the film, we will work on some of the vocabulary and the cultural and social aspects necessary to understand the context in which the films are set. Pilar Valera will lead the discussion afterwards to explore, question ourselves and answer the issues put forward in the film.

What do I need to bring with me?
A selection of tapas will be included – please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.

Are there any additional costs?
Drinks will be available to purchase on the evening.

About the tutor
