SUMMER SIPPERS – SHERRY & PORT

5th June 2015

With Chris Leather of Stainton Wines.

EXPLORING THE WORLD OF SHERRY, FINE WHITE PORTS & TAWNY PORTS

Fri 5 Jun | 7.30pm | Warehouse Cafe

Bristol Cream ensured that, for a whole generation, admitting to drinking sherry was about as cool as telling your friends you had all Cliff Richard’s hits on tape. But sherry is experiencing a massive resurgence in popularity – not just as an aperitif but as a complex, sophisticated drink in its own right.

Chris Leather, director of Stainton Wine, will take us on a tour of some of the Iberian Peninsula's very best fortified wines and we’ll be serving terrific tapas to go with it. Wine list;

  • Fino, Bodegas Colosia
  • Manzanilla Pasada, Argueso
  • Amontillado del Puerto, Colosia
  • Reserva White Port, Ramos Pinto
  • Quinta da Ervamoira 10 year old tawny, Ramos Pinto
