Steambending Course Information
Craftsmen have been using the amazing properties of wood for centuries to make boats, sledges, barrels, boxes, furniture. This one day course will give you an insight into bending wood. We will learn about selecting wood, building steam chambers, bending formers, compression straps and more. Each student will make their own steam-bent object out of locally sourced wood to take home.

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
