Our Spring Creative workshops are specially designed together with inspirational artists and our Brewery team of tutors, to inspire, teach and delight.
Our workshops are designed for children and are ideal for the whole family. Learn new creative skills by doing, making and moving in your own home.
Let’s get creative and have some fun!
A fun and vibrant workshop, exploring various cultural dance styles from Brazil such as Samba Reggae and Maracatu. Learn a little about the heritage influencing the movement and get your body grooving to some great rhythms.

The Zoom link, meeting ID and passcode will be on your e-ticket, this will be emailed to you after booking. Please join 5 mins early to start the class on time. Do not give the log in details to anyone else.
What do I need to bring?
Comfortable clothes you can move in, and plenty of water.
About the tutor
Louise Gibbons is a Freelance Dance Artist based in the NW. Louise has taught dance in a variety of educational and community settings since graduating from a dance degree in 2010. Louise got her first taste of Afro-Brazilian Dance in 2013 and has since taken 3 study trips to Brazil to gain more knowledge & experience. During her last trip in 2019, she even got the chance to perform in ‘Carnaval’ in Recife & Olinda.
With a background in Contemporary Dance, Louise is also a skilled performer in a range of diverse settings including a children’s hospital and carnivals/parades across the UK & internationally. In early 2020, she created her first solo work which was an interactive show that toured care homes with invited primary school audiences.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
