Join our year 5 Spanish course if you are able to converse in Spanish around a topic but feel there are still skills that need improving and vocabulary that needs increasing.
This course is suitable for those who have completed a 5th year of Spanish.
We are moving upwards to an A level or B2/C1in the European language ladder.
Grammar points on verbs including subjunctive, prepositions, pronouns and others will be revisited.
We will also cover some history, social events, economy issues and politics of Spain today.

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
We will split the teaching time into listening exercises, conversation & games activities to develop your oral skills, reading tasks and some grammar explanations. We will work with grammar, reading & writing exercises at home.
Your tutor will discuss the course content with the class and may make some adjustments to the syllabus based on the needs of the group. She will also try to accommodate individual requirements where possible.

The Zoom link, meeting ID and passcode will be on your e-ticket, this will be emailed to you after booking. Please join 5 mins early to start the class on time. Do not give the log in details to anyone else.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.

About the tutor
Pilar Valera graduated in Politics and has taught for more than 20 years from beginners to advance level. Exam and non-exam courses and a range of ages and abilities. She is from Madrid and although she lives in Kendal she runs study-breaks in Spain for adults and summer courses for children.
