‘The Naked Choir’ Winners, The Sons of Pitches Announce 26-date UK tour The Sons of Pitches is a mult-award winning Britsh vocal group combining soaring solos, impeccable harmonies and sensatonal beatboxing to stunning efect. They were crowned winners of the BBC 2 TV series 'The Naked Choir' in October 2015.
With nearly two million YouTube hits and a growing internatonal reputaton, The Sons, as they are afectonately nicknamed, have “given a cappella a kick up the backside” (ThreeWeeks). Since 2013, The Sons have captvated audiences with highly creatve vocal gymnastcs and a programme of inventve pop covers, original numbers and entertaining improvised songs.
The Sons' recently had their cover of Skrillex’s 'Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites' selected for Sing 12, the Contemporary A Cappella Society Associaton's prestgious compilaton CD. Other recent highlights include tours across the UK, USA and Asia with performances at the Internatonal Championship of Collegiate A Cappella fnal in New York, the Hong Kong Internatonal A Cappella Festval and a sell-out debut run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festval. The Sons of Pitches also have an expanding portolio of corporate clients, including NFL, Microsof and Nokia.
Alongside spectacular concert performances, The Sons of Pitches deliver hugely valuable vocal workshops. Current projects include the group collaboratng with the Royal Opera House Learning and Partcipaton department in a bold educaton initatve to inspire confdence in school pupils from primary to secondary level.
