Who is the learner? Who is the educator? Prism Arts invites you to a one-day seminar to explore how learning and development can be enhanced through diversity and creativity.
Ofsted are increasingly focusing on young people’s emotional resilience, and Arts Council England are placing a growing emphasis on partnerships between arts organisations and education. This one-day seminar will show you how to:
DEVELOP young people’s emotional resilience through creativity.
DISCOVER creative approaches to learning through diversity.
EXPLORE diversity in your school or youth group through the arts.

The seminar will include performance, film, discussion and practical workshops led by:
Artists and teachers
Young learning disabled people from Prism Arts Studio Theatre
Students from Distington Community School, Mayfield SEN Physical & Sensory Specialist School and Holme St Cuthbert School
Young people from Brewery Youth Arts

Places are just £20 per delegate (including lunch) and can be booked online, over the phone, or in person at the box office.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
Unwaged* – For those in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax credits, Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support. Discounts may not be applicable on certain events.
