A sense of place is at the heart of much British poetry and nowhere is that more true than in the poetry of our region. From the work of Wordsworth and Norman Nicholson to the engraved stones of Meg Peacock's poetry path, the exploration of a local habitation has been a rich and constant source of material. On this course students will have the opportunity to explore this poetry with the intention of writing their own.
