Saturday 15th Oct 12.15-1.15pm Comics Clock Tower Council Chamber
Possibly not so much a horrible history but certainly an unreliable one, Paul Thomas’ first book, published by Nobrow, offers an outrageous and raucous insight into the history of tattoos (not the Edinburgh one!).
Paul is a popular and prolific political strip and gag cartoonist (Punch, The Spectator, Private Eye, The Sunday Times, The Independent, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian). He’ll be joined by comics scholar John McShane to explore tattoo culture, the creation of The Unreliable History of Tattoos and more about Paul’s special brand of satirical cartooning.
In partnership with Nobrow
