Paul Sinha is a stand-up comedian, but you might have seen him as ‘The Sinnerman’, from ITV’s tea-time quiz, The Chase.
Over the last fifteen years, you might have been treated by him if you’ve been to a Norfolk A&E or visited a London doctor’s surgery.
And eagle-eyed quiz fans might remember him from his appearances on Mastermind, The Weakest Link and University Challenge – The Professionals.
But what many people might not know is that for over a decade Paul has been making his name in the world of stand-up. He’s performed at gigs all the way from Aberdeen to Auckland and from Sheffield to Singapore. There have been eight, count ‘em, eight solo shows.
Paul is many many things; a proud quiz geek, a doctor, a Gemini, a sports fanatic, and, according to Jim Davidson, ‘an Indian poof’.
But first and foremost, he is a stand-up comedian. A bloody great stand-up comedian.
“One of those comedians who makes you realise the power of stand-up comedy and the respect it deserves as an art form.” Yorkshire Post
Paul’s radio and television appearances include: ITV's The Chase, BBC Radio 4's Paul Sinha's Citizenship Test, The News Quiz and Just a Minute, Comedy Central's Alternative Comedy Experience and BBC Radio 5 Live's Fighting Talk amongst many others.
Nominee – The Edinburgh Comedy Award, the highest accolade in live stand-up
Nominee – Best Headliner & Best Club Comic by respected industry magazine, Chortle.
