Our House by Tim Firth – Music & Lyrics by Madness

“Stunning, Nutty & Brilliant! “  The Telegraph

Our House follows the trend of ‘Mamma Mia!’ and ‘We Will Rock You’ but although based on the songs of Madness, it is no mere ‘tribute show’. It is a stylish, classy evening of intelligent story telling performed by a fantastic and energetic cast of students from the Outstanding Kendal College Performing and Production Arts Department, who always bring something amazing to The Brewery Stage when they perform. This year they are supported with a college band that will have you ‘bouncing in your seats’ to songs from Baggy Trousers to Driving in My Car- you will know them all.

Our House is the story of Joe Casey who, on the night of his sixteenth birthday, takes Sarah, the girl of his dreams, out on their first date. In an effort to impress her, he breaks into a building site at which point Joe’s life splits into two: the Good Joe, and the Bad Joe.

It is, in short, a great British musical and a fantastic night out!

Presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd.
