A fantastic course designed to give you the tips and tools you need get you started in oil painting. We will cover the basics, such as equipment, preparation, colour mixing and paint techniques. Paint from still life, drawings and photos, as well as looking at work by other artists.
Catherine has exhibited widely, including the BP Portrait Show 2001 and 2002, and has won many awards, including 1st prize at the Brewery Open in 2002. Her work is collected nationally and internationally, and features in Sky Portrait Artist of the year 2014. (Credit images: Catherine MacDiarmid)
