Northern Exposure Short Film Competition
The Brewery Arts Centre in association with Kendal College and Lawther Multimedia is delighted to announce the Northern Exposure Short Film Competition.
We are inviting filmmakers in Cumbria and North Lancashire to submit short films on any theme, the best of which will win this prestigious new award and see their work screened at the Brewery Arts Centre Cinema in Kendal.
The Awards ceremony will be held on May 10th 2013 from 7.30pm in cinema screen two at the Brewery arts Centre in Kendal.
There are three award categories:
Best Film: Judged by a panel of entertainment industry experts.
The People’s Choice: Selected by audience vote on the night of the awards.
The Social Media Award: Based on Facebook likes, comments and shares.

All our ticket prices include a 50p commission. This fee helps us continue to fund our diverse programme. Creative learning classes & workshops are exempt.
Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
Unwaged* – For those in receipt of Universal Credit, Working Tax credits, Job Seekers Allowance or Income Support. Discounts may not be applicable on certain events.
