This workshop hopes to encourage the progression from mark and line into shape, space and form using colour- not as an ‘addition’ to drawing but as cohesion of concepts within the work. It asks the artist to consider the ‘whole’ piece as it evolves- the hierarchy of emphasis and structure within an abstract composition.
