A brand new comedy by prolific playwright John Godber is set to tour the UK in Spring with some famous faces taking on the two roles.
Steve Huison, familiar to millions as Lomper in the UK hit film The Full Monty is set to play Jack Munroe, a middle aged man who, after walking out on his Job, his wife and his teenage children, sets off to travel Europe and write his much promised novel. He returns with no money, no novel and no idea why he left. Steve trained at Rose Bruford College and has since appeared in a number of well known TV programmes including Dinner Ladies, The Royle Family and, most notably as Eddie Windass in Coronation Street.
Susan Cookson plays Jack’s wife Sally, a flower shop owner. Susan is mostly known for playing Mrs Kath Wylie in the BBC Drama Casualty however she has also appeared in Emmerdale, Clocking Off, Fat Friends, Peak Practice and not to mention as Tanya the barmaid in Craig Cash's hilarious pub sitcom Early Doors.
