Lino Printing

Creative Learning |
22nd June 2018

22 June | Friday | 10.30am – 4.30pm | Penny Hunt | £63.00 | max 6 people

Make you own small edition of lino prints. Learn how to transfer a design onto a lino block and cut out the image, printing it using the reduction process to build up several layers of colours.

By the end of the session you will:

Understand the design and reduction process through your own making.

Have an awareness of other artists working in lino print for your continued inspiration.

Have clear technique sheets to take away with you so you can continue at home.

Have a small edition of your own lino prints.

What do I need to bring with me? Are there any additional costs?

If you have any images you would particularly like to work from, for example photographs, images from magazines or sketches then bring a few to choose from and we can work out which would be best suited to this method. There will be images provided to help inspire otherwise.

Access and facilities:

Most of the Brewery is accessible for those who consider themselves to have a disability. There is a lift to all floors within the main building and adapted toilets. On occasion classes may take place in Room 14, with access via stairs only.  Please contact the Adult Learning Team on 01539 722833 Ext 273/275 if you wish to discuss any specific needs or email kate.lund@breweryarts.co.uk
