Life Drawing Evenings | Wed 14 Sep | Wed 26 Oct | 7.30-9.30pm | £13 (per session) | 16+ yrs | Supervised by Catherine MacDiarmid | Studio 3

An opportunity for people with some experience to develop drawing and/or painting direct from a life model. Explore and develop your techniques as well as new approaches to life drawing on an individual basis and within the disciplined tradition of a life room. 

Please note that this is an untutored session but will be supervised by artist Catherine MacDiarmid. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. 

What do I need to bring with me? 
Please bring your own materials, drawing boards and easels will be provided.

About the supervisor 
Catherine MacDiarmid is a local artist who has exhibited widely, including exhibiting in the BP Portrait in 2001/2 and regularly at the Mall Galleries, London.  She is an elected member of The Lakes Artists Society and appeared in Sky Portrait Artists of the Year in 2014, 2018 reaching the semi-finals in 2019.  As well as completing private portrait commissions her work is collected internationally and she works from her studio in Kendal.  Her artwork focuses on the human form, exploring expression and movement in both drawing & painting.
