14 & 15 July | Saturday & Sunday | 10.30am – 4.30pm each day | Colin Reynolds | £110.00 | max 12 people
On this two day workshop you will learn the key techniques to improve your landscape photography. We will look at composition, use of filters, long exposure techniques together with how to use a few simple steps in photo editing software to create stunning landscape images.
This workshop is for those with some experience and participants should have a good working knowledge of their camera.
This will be a mixture of tutor led demonstrations, hands on use of camera controls and software demonstrations.
On Day 2 we will spend the whole day in the field practicing the techniques that you have learnt on Day 1.
By the end of the session you will:
Understand how composition, the use of light and exposure can enhance your landscape photography.
What do I need to bring with me? Are there any additional costs?
You will need to bring:
A digital camera plus any lenses that you wish to use. The camera should be fully charged with a memory card that has sufficient space on for a 2 day course.
Optional items to bring if you have them are:
Tripod, Cable release, filters plus any other equipment that you would like to learn more about.
On Day 2 we will be out in the field in the outlying fells located between Kendal and Shap. You will be advised of the meeting point on a few weeks prior to the weekend.
You will need good walking shoes/boots, a backpack or camera bag to carry your camera and equipment. Suitable clothing and waterproofs.
Additionally you will need to bring a packed lunch with you as we will be out away from the cars for a full day. The walking is not strenuous, we will be on the valley floor but it will be rough underfoot.
Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them. If you have specific questions about the workshop content, location or other arrangements please contact tutor Colin Reynolds who would be happy to advise: colin@colinreynoldsphotography.co.uk
