KPF22 Main Reading – Daniel Sluman and John Glenday

Literature |
25th June 2022

7pm – 9pm | Tickets £5 | Brewery Arts: Theatre

Daniel Sluman’s third collection single window (Nine Arches Press, 2021) is a hyper-confessional hybrid memoir of poetry and images that explore the experience of disabled people living in Britain. Loneliness and pain co-exist with unconditional love and moments of intimacy in this stunning collection. John Glenday’s Selected Poems showcases the range of a poet often celebrated for the spirituality at the heart of his work. Forceful directness, moving elegies, quick-witted humour, and the honouring of silence as a form of prayer can all be found in his work.
