Everyone is welcome to the Festival Launch. Celebrate our return to Kendal with music, wine, and of course – poetry! The festival will be officially opened by the artist, Clae Eastgate, and will feature performances from our Young Poet in Residence and our Young Musician in Residence.

Can’t join in person? Join the Zoom session here.

Kendal Poetry Festival’s trademark emphasis is on inclusivity and accessibility. This year we continue to offer free tickets to young people, people with disabilities and their carers. If you are under 21 or have a disability, please select the ‘concessions’ ticket at checkout to receive your free ticket.
