KPF – READING: FIONA SAMPSON and GRETA STODDART

26th June 2016

Sun 26 Jun | 2 – 4pm

Fiona Sampson will be reading from her new collection The Catch. Her poetry is filled with a quiet, lyrical intensity and her previous training as a concert violinist can be heard in the rhythm and phrasing of her work. Greta Stoddart’s latest collection Alive Alive O explores the very human need to try to make sense of mortality. It is ‘an exploration of grief that is both pensively elegiac and electrifyingly alive’ (Mslexia). Dove Cottage Young Poets Florence Jones and Eleanor Miekle will also be performing at this event, alongside our Young Musician in Residence, David Griffiths.

Tickets: £8
