Kendal College – The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee

Theatre |
13th June 2018 – 16th June 2018

“A riotous ride, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is delightful den of comedic genius.” New York Times

A fast-paced wildly funny and touching musical with a truly fresh and vibrant score – this bee is one unforgettable experience!

The Tony Award winning musical follows a group of quirky students on their journey to become the champion speller at the bee. Along the way they discover the true meaning of winning and losing.

Through hilarious, touching, and catchy songs, each speller reveals his/her hopes, struggles, and passions as they make their way through the competition, causing audiences to fall in love, both with the show itself and its “perspicacious,” “jocular,” and “effervescent” spellers.

Six spellers enter; one speller leaves!
