A fun session for those who love to act, explore and use their imaginations.

What will the course cover and how will it be taught?
Students will learn a multitude of skills and techniques to add to their acting toolbox such as devising, script work, creating characters and vocal and physical techniques. There will be opportunities to work towards exciting projects and show off your new skills in the Brewery Arts Theatre!
Important Information
Please note there are no classes during weeks beginning 25 October and 15 November.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please come ready in comfortable clothes that you can move in and bring your own water.

About the tutor
Laura trained at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts gaining a Diploma and Degree in Acting and joins our new Brewery Arts, learning team. Laura performed in a variety of acting roles from Shakespeare to sitcom pilots, original writing to corporate training. During working as an actor in London, Laura found joy working with adults and children in theatres and performing arts schools, running acting workshops across London and then as a resident tutor at both The Norwich Theatre Royal and Garage Theatre. She has written and directed for young actors at The Playhouse, Norwich and also holds a 100% pass rate for LAMDA exams. The main focus in her sessions is to build a safe and fun environment in which young people can learn skills, build confidence and be supportive of others.

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
