A celebration of dance in the north of England. Past, Present & Future from clogging and folk dance to contemporary and experimental forms of movement.
Featuring a full day of events and performances, in a variety of different spaces around Brewery, including Watling Street by Aboutime Dance Company.
Watling Street is a moving and powerful dance performance work set in 1913 and following the Suffragist pilgrimage from Carlisle to London collecting 100,000 women along the way.
Expect a unique performance, taking place in among the audience, exploring the fight for equality and their ultimate goal – votes for women.
There will also be two brand new pieces of work from Emily May Dance amd Northern Rascals

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
