What they say….
“Great fun whilst being instructive – a marvellous way to learn”.

What will the course cover and how will it be taught?
Activities will involve speaking, reading, listening and writing, and there may be some opportunity for audio-visual activities. The main emphasis will be on communication, so there will be plenty of opportunity to practice your speaking skills.

The course takes place in a relaxed and light-hearted atmosphere. You will work on improving your vocabulary, use of idiom and level of accuracy, practising orally, with reading and writing exercises for consolidation.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Have broadened the range of topics on which you can express yourself.
  • Have had an opportunity to revise and practise areas of language (e.g. conditional, imperfect, continuous forms, pronouns, language of necessity)
  • Have confidence in giving instructions and advice
  • Have an understanding of the imperative
  • Feel confident to practise a variety of tenses in a narrative

What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a pen, notebook and your glasses, if you need them.

Are there any additional costs?
You will be asked to purchase a moderately priced course book, to be advised at the start of the course.
