Saturday 15th Oct 11.00am-12.30pm BAC Art Room 1
In an intensive practical and collaborative workshop session, you’ll look at ways to approach adapting famous works of art or literature into the comics format with writer, artist and editor ILYA (Manga Shakespeare's King Lear, How To Draw Comics, Kid Savage). We will choose and adapt one of Shakespeare's Sonnets on the spot, fully exploring the many links between the language of comics and lyric verse or poetry. You will come away empowered to tackle well nigh anything!
