Hussies And Handbags – Workshop

10th March 2018

13:00 – 16:00

Come along to a Celebration in Song for International Women’s Day.

The Blameless Hussies are a duo of excellent singers and song leaders.  If you love to sing in parts with others then you’re in for a treat.  No previous experience necessary as they’ll have us all up and singing with no music reading at all!   Just bring along your love of singing.

Between the workshop and concert you’re very welcome to bring and share a Jacob’s Join meal.

The Blameless Hussies (reclaiming hussydom through song – witty and serious songs from a woman’s perspective – combining original compositions, folk and world music, spine-tingling harmonies and bustles!) will be joined by Pandora’s Handbag, a quartet of local women (“pitch perfect harmonies and a style that moves easily from mood to mood with a humour that is both zany and understated”), in a concert to round off the celebration.

Buy a ticket for both the Concert and the Workshop for £25!  Discount will be applied at checkout.  All concessionary tickets are subject to availability.

Any uncollected tickets can be picked up from the venue from 12.45pm for the workshop, 6.30pm for the concert.

The venue is Unitarian chapel School Room, Market Square, Kendal, LA9 4TN.
