Inspired by the amazing collection at K Shoes Heritage Centre, with pilot boots with hidden maps & compass, to high fashion with Mary Quant, Heron Hill Year 3 students have designed an eclectic collection of imaginary shoes. From skates, slippers, football boots to high heels, these highly decorated pieces have been assembled into a series of banners with the help of artist Sue Gilmartin and a team of volunteer parents. They will be on display in Shakespeare yard. Whilst in town, you can visit K’s Heritage Centre – take the escalator to the top floor of K’s Village. It’s a real gem.
