What participants say…
“I enjoyed the course very much this term, it was great to feel we were getting back to normal. Chris gave really helpful demonstrations and advice.”
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced makers. Chris will lead you through three possible projects which you can follow
- Hollow hanging balls – light enough to hang on Christmas tree branches
- Translucent tea light holders – exploiting the quality of thin porcelain
- Small porcelain gift boxes – with fitting lids
Try all three or concentrate on making more of one or two of the projects. Work will be ready for collection before Christmas.
The session is run with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A creative approach to design and making is encouraged.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a clean apron and/or wear old clothes.
Tea and coffee are included but you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
Are there any additional costs?
No, clay, firing costs and tea and coffee are included in the course fee.
