What participants say…
“I enjoyed the course very much this term, it was great to feel we were getting back to normal. Chris gave really helpful demonstrations and advice.”
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
The workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as more experienced makers. Chris will lead you through the making process to produce your own varied and individual clock. A clock of your own design, modelled and decorated in the style of your choice and finished with colours and glaze. The only limitations are your imagination and the size of the battery-powered mechanism.
The session is run with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A creative approach to design and making is encouraged.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a clean apron and/or wear old clothes. Tea and coffee is included but you may wish to bring a packed lunch.
Are there any additional costs?
Clock mechanism, clay, firing and glazing are all included in the course fee.
