Learnt Italian in the past but feeling rusty? Want to revive your skills in a relaxed and friendly class? If you have covered some of the basics and can get by in some simple conversations such as introducing yourself and ordering food this course will be perfect.
If you wish to enrol on this course for the first time in September, please contact the Brewery to be put in touch with the tutor to ensure this is the right level for you.
If this course has already started there may be places still available. Please contact sales@breweryarts.co.uk
What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
The emphasis will be on communication and we will work on grammar and sentence structure, looking in more detail at verbs, in particular building confidence in using the past tense.
There will be further work on plural v singular and gender agreement, as well as the practice of prepositions. We will also begin work on object pronouns.
All will be presented and practised in useful everyday situations. The emphasis will be on developing speaking and listening skills, via a variety of exercises and activities in a relaxed atmosphere. Where social distancing allows, there will be lots of pair and group work, and the approach will be light-hearted!
By the end of the course you will:
have built upon the number of everyday situations in which you can get by and have a deeper understanding of key elements of Italian grammar and sentence structure, giving you the confidence to express yourself a little more freely.
