Sunday 16th Oct 11.30am-1.00pm BAC Art Room 2
Ken Niimura is one of the festival’s special guests in 2016 all the way from Japan. Ken was winner of the Golden Prize in the 5th International Manga Award and was nominated for both Eisner and Eagle Awards for his work on 'I Kill Giants', created in collaboration with Joe Kelly. His illustration book 'Zero' reveals both a rare and diverse talent, while 'Travelling' and 'Henshin', both short story collections, display that intoxicating combination of fine art and strong storyline.
“Come, let's do some drawing games together! You don't need to draw well – just be ready to have some fun by using drawings as a means to tell a story and combine your drawings with those of the other participants. We’ll do a comic strip that we'll swap between artists and a game of combining characters and more”.
Level : All
