This course is for students who have studied French for at least 6 years, have a rusty A-level or lots of experience of the language. Accessed online from the comfort of your own home, it will be run “tout en français!”

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?
During the course you will learn to:
- Discuss and express your ideas on a wide range of topics with fluency and accuracy
- Read articles from French newspapers
- Listen to French radio programmes
- Give a short presentation about a topic of your choice
A wide range of activities will be used to encourage all students to participate and progress. There will be opportunities for individual, pair and group work as well as teacher led activities. A few grammar points will be studied as we go along.

Your e-ticket will be emailed to you upon booking, this will include Zoom details.
What do I need for the class?
Please bring a pen, a notebook, a French dictionary if you have one and your glasses, if you need them.

About the tutor
Dominique Pluskwa is a native French speaker, was born in Paris and studied History at La Sorbonne. She moved to Kendal in 1999 and has taught French since 2002, both privately and for small groups as well as at the Brewery.

Audio Description (AD) is available in Screen 1. Infrared audio system is available in both Cinema Screens 1 and 2. Induction loops (T) are in place in the Theatre, please ask for assistance on the door.
Some live events may carry strict age restrictions, these are outlined on our website. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times during evening events.
