French Advanced is for students who have studied French for at least 6 years, have a rusty A-level or have lots of experience of the language. The class is run “tout en français!”

What will the course or workshop cover and how will it be taught?

During the course you will learn to:
- discuss and express your ideas on a wide range of topics with fluency and accuracy,
- read articles from French newspapers,
- listen to French radio programmes,
- Give a short presentation about a topic of your choice
A wide range of activities will be used to encourage all students to participate and progress. There will be opportunities for individual, pair and group work as well as teacher-led activities. A few grammar points will be studied as we go along.

Please note there are no classes during weeks beginning 14 Feb.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a pen, a notebook, a French dictionary if you have one and your glasses if you need them.

About the tutor
Dominique Pluskwa is a native French speaker, was born in Paris and studied History at La Sorbonne. She moved to Kendal in 1999 and has taught French since 2002, both privately and for small groups as well as at Brewery Arts.
