Jennie Dennett, from Up for Arts fame has co-ordinated this project in what promises to be an exciting property chain of woolly house bunting! Adrienne of William’s Wools gave a wonderfully welcoming and cosy venue to anyone who wanted to drop in on the first Tuesday evening of each month. Lots of individuals have crafted their own place or a favourite building in Kendal using knitting, felting, stitching – included some wool in a nod to the sheep who generated so much of the town’s wealth. A couple on their honeymoon even had time to drop in to a workshop and create their own old grey fairy tale house – look out for Rapunzel letting down her hair! The work is on display in Wainwrights yard.
