10.30-11.30 European Giants: Mattias Adolfsson & Boulet
BAC: Screen 1
We bring together two European giants of the live draw: Boulet (France) and Mattias Adolfsson (Sweden). They both draw with great imagination, detail and flair, and are legends in their respective countries and beyond. The festival patron Boulet has more than 25 published books to his name, loves single malt whisky and French fries, and hates people who say, “in my humble opinion”. Mattias Adolfsson just can’t stop drawing and feels “half-dressed without his sketchbook”. He won the 2014 Most Beautiful Swedish Book award. If he could be one animated cartoon character it would be Mr Potato Head.
