Electronic Music Production | Tue 4 Oct to Tue 6 Dec | 6.15-7.45pm | £40 (8 wks) | 15-19 yrs | Tutor Tiiva | Warehouse
Work with a music producer to write and record your own track or song, exploring beat making, synth programming and lyric writing to create an original piece of electronic music.
What will the sessions cover and how will it be taught?
Learn how to write and produce with your voices, and instruments in an open safe space, sharing ideas and expressing yourself through music making. We’ll be writing, improvising and producing using Ableton and GarageBand. Make music together and learn techniques that can give you the skills to write melodies and produce music or kick-start your own band.
Who is it for?
You don’t need any experience, or be able to play an instrument/read music to join these sessions. They are for anyone with an interest in music, songwriting, and production, who would like to collaborate with like-minded people.
What do I need to bring?
A notebook or digital pad/phone to record any lyrics and ideas. A USB stick/hard drive for samples.
Are there any additional costs?
Please note there are no sessions weeks beginning 24 October and 14 November 2022.
