Drypoint Course Information

Drypoint prints are created by scratching a drawing into a metal plate with a needle or other sharp tool.  Learning this technique allows the greatest freedom of line, from the most delicate hairline to the heaviest mark to create wonderful imagery.

Angie Mitchell is a mixed media artist living in Kendal with a studio at the Green Door Studios. The wonderful landscape of the Lake District and Morecambe Bay with its ever changing weather and light and its special variety of flora and fauna provides her with continuous inspiration.
